What an anime ! I would need years to describe what I feel for this series, for its creators, its character designers... This series rocked my adolescence and it's still fresh in my heart today. I had the extreme honor to participate to a few official works in France about this series (no need to say I was ecstatic about this ^^) : - the Music Audio CD Audio (Logarythme - 2003)
- the DVD Box 1 (AB productions - 2001)

1 - AUDIO CD

Olivier Fallaix (currently Animeland's chief editor) trusted me about the making of original visuals about Saint Seiya, in order faire en sorte that the CD are not just mere copies of japanese ones des japonais, but have a touch, a flair of their own. The only constraint I had was to get visuals that would be easy to differentiate from afar, at least on a color shade point of view. I respected this constraint and the result is very satisfying.

2 - DVD BOX

Two years before, in 2001, I had the honor to work on the illustration of the very first SAINT SEIYA DVD, then released by AB Production and manufactured by MANGA DISTRIBUTION. I tried to keep the idea to make illustrations directly related to the included episodes. The box was a considerable success, alas the next ones were canceled... in the same way as the Dragon Ball Z ones, at the same time.
