Seen in " Croques-Vacances ", this series was very nice for children. It enabled to follow the adventures of a young boy wishing to become a knight. A l'instar of a certain Tom Sawyer but at another time, he was recovering everything he could to fabricate his knight cloth (barrel turned into a shield, stick as a sword, and his laughing donkey as horse). I made many drawings about this series, with a few (too many according to the ayant droits, and they were right) representing the monks from the series beginning, as I only had the first episodes at my disposal to design the box. Afterwards, I made some modifications by adding more chivalrous visuals, like an image from the opening whre, dressed a s a knight, Rody rises his sword on his faithful silver battle steed. But the one image that will eternally be linked to Rody in our mind is the one appearing at the end of the opening. I think that it had been added in France to extend it, as its style was quite different form the series itself. I redrew it in order to give more coherence to it with the rest of the series.
