"Mask crusaders, working all the time, fighting crime, fighting crime!" Originally designed to sell Kenner toys, this series becomes a true cartoon, developing a real story with interesting characters and mechas. The concept is based on a magical trio : the human, his combat mask, his transforming vehicle. So it was obvious for me that these covers had to respect this effective and magical trio. All covers are built on this unchanging basis, thus showing one after the other the numerous characters and corresponding vehicles. To give a "trademark" aspect, I decided to give an identical back to all covers (minus the color and incline) : the one of a meshing inspired from the cult movie TRON which M.A.S.K., by its cars and futuristic adventures, always made me think to...
