I didn't know this series very well before working on it... I acknowledge I had a quite mixed a priori, more due to a lack of affinities with the theme than for an artistico-technical reason. At the end, I found the atmosphere of the legendary quests, des prophecies and medieval worlds that attracted me in the Lord of the Rings and that I illustrated in " l'Anneau des Sept", my friend Arnaud Dollen's novel. In fact, I quite enjoyed its universe. Being not a specialist of the series, I followed the request of the rightful owners of characters in bust or full body, to give more freedom to the DVD designer. He added a wonderful background to the characters and some kind of runes making a superb object from this box.
