More known as "l'Empire des Cinq" by nostalgic ones, this series mettait en scène a group composed of young brothers & sisters along with their father, the professor Kossig searching for a legendary treasure named "the Askadis treasure". They were journeying through the world aboard a gigantic and powerful robot (the good ol' time of the super robot craze ^^ ), Torn Rock. The most interesting point was the way many reknown treasure and legends were revisited by the science fiction cares... I tried to give the same importance to each one of the characters on the covers, with the exception of young Antoine and Professor Kossig who enjoyed a little more prominent position. Also, and when possible, I drew the arch enemy of the heroes, the treacherous Daros lord of the Logors, an alien race also searching for the treasure. I also used a constant element on each cover, the golden light, mainly to remind physically the abstract notion of the Askadis treasure. This allows an easy recognition of covers and their unity inside the box.
