While designing of the "Captain Harlock Box" fan art, I also planned to make a book covering another one of my cult-series from the eighties : ULYSSE 31. This book was comparatively quickly achieved, as texts were written in parallel to drawings, by Arnaud Dollen. The designs of each episode have been achieved in about two weeks, while the texts required three weeks at most. What took slightly more time was to draw the few color posters present in the book, as well as the character design and particularly the mecha design at the beginning of the book.
