If I had to choose a top " vehicles " series as I was a child, then it had to be JAYCE and the Wheeled Warriors ! This was my fourth festival as I decided that it was time, after Saint Seiya, Harlock, Ulysse and Grendizer, to pay tribute to this mythical series of the eighties. I then began the hard task of selecting the best episodes of JAYCE ("best" being a very subjective notion here !) to sum them up and illustrate them, to collect all this in a quite complete artbook, introducing the characters, vehicles, ships and this "best of" of episodes... This fan art work required a few months, between end of 1999 and beginning of 2000. The result is a book having more than 120 pages, which was the foundation stone, in 2002, of an official booklet included in the JAYCE DVD Boxes (official DVD-box released by IDP Home Video, the booklet of which was at the charge of MANGA DISTRIBUTION).
