Originality of the series The theme of amnesia is not especially innovate, neither is a secret-agent-looking guy in quest for his past. What's less mainstream is that amnesia is generalized : each of the three main characters ignores everything or almost of his/her own past, and mankind itself has lost its origins. So, it's not about the past of only one man to be found out, but the one of a whole world. Throw in a futuristic universe, and curiosity coupled with the change of scenery will foster the audience interest.
The aimed audience The episodes are designed to be enjoyed on 2 levels : - The younger audience (6-12 years old). Episodes have various themes (emotion, action, humour, suspense…) which will make the series both dynamic and entertaining, while remaining easy to follow - The teenage and grown-up audience (12 years and more). Episodes are filled with allusions and explanations enabling to grasp more in depth the complex world of L&S; the series is then perceived as a unique whole, full of details prompting to do research on. Moreover, there is a strong educational will behind the series : the search for the origins of H² is an opportunity to refer to historical or social themes, in order to attract the audience interest the ludic way, or even to make them want to gather information by themselves.
The bad guys in L&S There is no regular bad guy, appearing in every episode with a new plan that the heroes thwart at the end. However, many recurring bad guys will come back from an episode to another one, or even from a season to another one should the series succeed. These bad guys are diverse : Giude, the fearful opponent in the Infernal Race, Luhz-Sheldak the mad king-queen, Construct the wily robot… And let's not forget the Marauders caste : a lot of its members have a suspicious behaviour, with their real intentions shrouded in mystery…
